Membership

As a WGA member, you are entitled to unlimited golf throughout the year with no additional green fees and no joining fees. You will also have access to our Golf Society and enjoy discounts on Society Days, for more information please click here.

Lessons

Stuart Sawyer, EGTF Golf Professional, provides tuition for golfers of all abilities. Whether you are looking to lower that handicap into single figures or have just started playing, we have the right tuition to suit your needs.

As well as the private tuition bay at the driving range, lessons can be carried out on the course or various practice areas such as the putting green, bunkers or pitching and chipping areas.

We can also carry out video analysis using the latest software. A player can have their swing filmed on the range, then analysed with Stuart using swing analysis software on our computer. Copies of your golf swing recording can be taken home for review.

Juniors

We run a hugely successful juniors academy at WGA. Sessions are held on a fortnightly basis on Saturdays from 10AM-12PM. During these sessions we teach juniors not only how to play the game, but also provide an understanding of the etiquette and history surrounding the game of golf.

A typical training session will start with coaching on the range and the putting green followed by a game on the course played in a ‘Texas Scramble’ format.

WGA Golf Society

The WGA Golf Society has been running for six years and is always increasing in popularity. The society can be joined independently for £25 p/a or via membership with WGA.

The society plays courses all over the Westcountry with venues such as Oake Manor, Exeter Golf & Country Club, Teignmouth and many more. A society day will consist of coffee and bacon roll on arrival, 18-holes of golf followed by a two course meal and prize giving.

Society Days

If you are looking to arrange a society day, we can cater for groups of 6-24 at WGA.

A typical society day will consist of bacon roll and coffee on arrival, 9 or 18 holes of golf and meal afterwards.

Prices start at £10 per head dependent on what you would like us to organise. Other additions we can make to group bookings include practice balls on the range prior to your game and if required, a training session with our pro on the day.

Birthday Parties

WGA has proven to be a very popular venue for birthday parties.

We can cater for groups of 4-20 children and a typical party could consist of the following: Range balls and clubs provided for all children with targets set up on the range. Afterwards, we will provide jelly and ice cream in the coffee shop.
